Kidney stones, stent ,and back pain for two months? - referred pain kidney
My father (80 years) was diagnosed with kidney stones. The doctor scheduled for surgery two weeks later and decided to place a stent at the time (I think) due to an enlarged prostate.
My father had been in excrutiating pain almost from the time of the stent put in. The doctor always called for the pain and antibiotics (three groups of Nitofur) capital strike.
Lithotripsy was performed successfully and during the recovery, the doctor has the nurse to remove the catheter. The catheter is removed and the stent at the same time. The doctor was not aware until the stent was cut at about 4 weeks later.
My father (is still a lot of pain but you can now mount and dismount and walk) and was within two full months after the stent was put in.
The doctor seems to be indifferent to the suffering of my father. Finally, the management and the appointment of a new CT (scanner and is "worried" about the lymph nodes in the kidney and referred to oncologist for his father's not already addressed) aggressive cancer and told that to maintainFollow-up appointments within two weeks.
My father seems to have been 20 years, two months of pain and does not seem right to be followed by pain after this period.
What happened to the stent, and what we need to do to make you feel better?

Your father needs a second opinion and fast. These things can cause severe pain, but this document should be investigated and at least it uncomfortable. I believe that the only document with the title something like hydrocodone and oxycodone, as he called those sentences are short-acting drug. I need to go something like Viagra or an extended release for this type of pain med, and the use of others through the pain. This can be called, but it must be written. There is no sense in this regard.
Take him to ER, if you leave at least vaccinated. Then ask for a referral to another person.
Kidney stones are terrible! I have since I have 13 years. It is possible that where they put the stent is swelling again, so that more pressure to the stent. The doctor needs to get out there and conduct of operations. My father did have a stent, is what happened to him. Sorry for your pain --
Has anyone else with any of his visits to the doctor? Finally, I started from my husband after a couple of similar events. It turned out that the doctor kind of something to reduce the problem of pain and then my man of the agreement.
I'm doing now and to make sure that my husband was fully informed about their problems with the doctor and the doctor to recognize them.
Has anyone asked the doctor why you do not take it seriously because it affects their health?
But get a second opinion. The doctor can listen better to someone else's description of the development they have seen his father since the stent. "It is only 2 hours per day, if assets are active 10 hours a day," and similar phrases are used to quantify.
